In the early years of the Republic, the port grew through agricultural exports and passenger transport.
Modernisation
In step with rising trade volumes, quay infrastructure, storage yards and cargo handling capacity were progressively developed.
Integrated Port and Warehousing
The port operates today by bringing cargo handling, terminal management and storage services together, serving both commercial vessel traffic and tourism vessels.
